I’ve been thinking about how to properly introduce myself around here… because while many of you may know me as the girl behind the counter, the one answering your messages, helping you find the perfect gift, or monogramming your little one’s things… there’s a little more to the story. 🤍

I’ve been at Lily Jane since 2018.

What started as a high school after-school job turned into something I never could have imagined. My grandparents owned a retail store when my dad was younger, and when I was in high school and looking for a job, they told me, “Everyone should work retail for at least six months.”

So, I did.

And somewhere along the way, six months turned into eight years.

I went to nursing school from 2020-2021 and graduated in December of 2021. But after graduation, I found myself searching for a little clarity about what my path was supposed to look like. I kept coming back to the place that had always made me happiest.

Lily Jane.

In 2022, I stepped into the role of manager. And on October 1, 2025, I officially became the owner.

Now, almost a year into owning this little store, I still have moments where I have to stop and think… How is this real? 🥹

The job I took because my grandparents told me everyone should try retail became a career I never planned for. The store I started working at in high school became a place I grew into, learned from, poured my heart into, and eventually got the opportunity to call my own.

I’m incredibly grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, trusted us with your babies, your gifts, your registries, your monograms, and all of life’s little celebrations.

Lily Jane has been such a huge part of my story for the last eight years — and now I’m so lucky to be writing the next chapter as its owner.
