Meet Lucy, the owner of Lily Jane! 

My love for retail began at a young age. I spent hours rearranging displays at my grandmother's consignment shop, Second Time Around, in downtown Columbia, TN. I consider myself to be a professional gift giver (is there such a job title?). I love buying for people! For as long as I can remember I've torn pages of product ideas out of magazines with the intention of researching more about particular brands.

I had dreams of a career in a big city working in fashion journalism and soon realized that my heart was drawn to a different lifestyle. I loved my hometown of Columbia, TN and was aware of the need for more retail options. Lily Jane (named for both of my grandmothers) opened its doors in 2008 in a small room inside a local coffee shop. Each year proved to be better (and more fun) than the last. The shop relocated to our historic downtown square in the fall of 2015. As my family continued to grow I realized my heart was no longer in the women's side of fashion. I found so much joy growing our selection of baby merchandise year after year and in 2022 transitioned to a baby and children's boutique.

I am grateful to so many. Family, friends, and our customers are all a part of what has made Lily Jane so special. I also realize that none of this would be possible without my fellow teammates. I have incredible people putting in so much energetic passion, effort, and countless hours. Each of them is very talented at what they do, both in the shop and behind the scenes. Last, but 100% not least, I'm incredibly lucky to have the most supportive husband and four precious children.
